Contraband Arrests at Multiple State Prisons
On March 20 at Calhoun State Prison, a person was spotted near the facility grounds. A traffic stop found Civilian Cutratia Neeson, who admitted to dropping off an individual near the facility. A search of Neeson’s vehicle found an unknown amount of contraband. Meanwhile, the GDC K-9 unit located the civilian she dropped off. Civilian David Anderson was found with the following contraband: tobacco, ecstasy, marijuana, and cell phones. Both Neeson and Anderson were arrested and transported to the Calhoun County jail.
On March 20 at Smith State Prison, civilian Joshua Person was spotted flying a drone over the facility. A further search of Person’s vehicle found one drone and a bag of unknown contraband. Civilian Person was arrested and transported to the Tattnall County Jail.
On March 19 at Dooly State Prison, three males and one female were spotted on the facility grounds. A search of the area found three bags of contraband. Dooly County Sheriff’s Office arrested all four subjects.
On March 18 at Baldwin State Prison, Staff member Cassandra Littlejohn could not clear the security check in the front entry. A search revealed a bag of tobacco on her persons. Littlejohn was arrested and transported to the Baldwin County Jail.
On March 17 at Central State Prison, Officer Demarcous Moore entered the front entry when the portal sergeant detected a strong odor of marijuana. Upon searching his vehicle, cellphones and marijuana were located. Officer Moore was arrested and transported to the Bibb County Jail.
