Contraband Arrest at Multiple State Prisons
On November 11 at Macon State Prison, 3 unidentified civilians were arrested by Macon County Sheriffs Department after admitting to delivering contraband to Macon State Prison. A backpack containing contraband with an unknown amount of tobacco and cell phones was discovered.
On November 7 at Dodge State Prison, Officer Whitney Cuyler was arrested by Dodge County Sheriff's Department after crossing the guard lines with contraband. She was found with 3 bundles of contraband wrapped in black electrical tape containing 430 grams of tobacco, 74 grams of possible marijuana and 50 grams of possible meth.
On November 4 at Hancock State Prison, security staff responded to a suspicious car in front of the facility with Labrescia Ramey and Michael Aycock. A search recovered three bundles which contained an unknown number of cell phones and other unknown substances. Another vehicle was found with Louis Anderson and Justin Stallworth inside and a search recovered the following contraband: approximately 1,832 grams of tobacco, seventeen cell-phones, thirteen cell-phone chargers, and thirty-eight packs of rolling paper. Civilians Ramey, Aycock, Stallworth, and Anderson were transported to the Hancock County Jail.
On November 4 at Wilcox State Prison, security staff responded to a siting of two suspicious people at the facilities wood-line. A search of the area resulted in the recovery of the following contraband: approximately 1,078 grams of tobacco, 13 packs of rolling paper, and five lighters. Civilians Avery Johnson and Deshawndre Holmes were arrested by the Wilcox County Sheriff's Office and transported to the Wilcox County Jail.
