On Friday, December 24th, Jean Engle of Marietta was arrested at Augusta State Medical Prison in Grovetown. Engle had drugs and tobacco in her possession while visiting an inmate. She was arrested by the Richmond County Sheriff's Department. The Department of Corrections is committed to identifying and pursuing prosecution of those persons who attempt to introduce contraband into state facilities.
