Forsyth - Commissioner Brian Owens announced the promotion of Vickie Lee to Chief Probation Officer for the Macon Judicial Circuit effective March 16, 2011.  Chief Lee will be responsible for the oversight of 52 staff members and the supervision of all felony probationers in the Macon Judicial Circuit.

“Vickie is a hard worker and has excelled at all job assignments,” said Commissioner Brian Owens.  “I am confident her knowledge of the Macon Judicial Circuit will serve her well as Chief Probation Officer,” added Owens.

Lee began her career with the Department in 2001 as a Probation Officer in the Macon Probation Office and was promoted to Probation Officer III in 2005.  She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia College and State University.
