ATLANTA–The Berrien County Superior Court has ordered the execution of convicted murderer William Earl Lynd. The Court ordered the Department to carry out the execution between May 6, and ending seven days later on May 13, 2008.
The execution is scheduled to take place at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6.
Lynd was sentenced to death for the killing of his girlfriend, Ginger Moore, on December 23, 1988.If executed, he will be the 18th inmate put to death by lethal injection.
