MISSION:

Ensure public safety and effectively house offenders while operating a safe and secure facility. Also provide housing for close security general population male offenders at the main unit and medium & minimum security housing at the Annex. Also has an in-house transitional program.

HOUSING:

11 housing units and one isolation/segregation unit. Each housing units has 48 cells capable of housing two offenders per cell for a total of 96 offenders per dorm for each of the 11 units. The annex consists of four open dormitories with 25 double-bunked beds in all living areas.

WORK DETAILS

Correctional Industries, Grounds-keeping, Kitchen, Farm (2), Compost, Maintenance, Laundry and various orderly details. The annex provides: Warden Grounds Details, Vehicle & Grounds Maintenance, Composting, Trash Details, WSP Rear and Annex Detail gates.

• Religious Activities: Bible Study, Various Worship Services to include Jehovah Witness, KAIROS, Catholic Mass

DIRECTIONS:

Take I-20 East to Siloam Exit, #138. Turn right onto Hwy 15 through Sparta and on to Sandersville. Turn left at second traffic light in Sandersville onto Hwy 24 East to Davisboro (approximately 15 miles); Washington State Prison is on the left.
