MISSION:

Ensure public safety and effectively house offenders while operating a safe and secure facility. Also provide programs to inmates and general labor details to surrounding areas. The population includes medium security general population inmates, as well as those on outpatient Level II Mental Health status also house inmates for the RSAT program.

HOUSING:

Consists of three buildings containing 12 open dormitories housing between 40-125 inmates each. The facility has 43 isolation/segregation cells. The Kemper Building houses a 240 bed RSAT program.

DIRECTIONS:

Take I-20 east to Hwy 441 South to Milledgeville and go through downtown Milledgeville. Take a left at the third traffic light onto Dunlap Road and continue until it ends. At the stop sign, take a right on Jefferson Street. Continue until Jefferson dead ends to the arched entrance of Georgia Military College. At the stop sign, take a left. At the next stop sign turn right on Elbert Street and then make a left onto Vinson Hwy. Turn right onto Rivers Lane (you will pass Rivers State Prison), follow Rivers Lane and take the first road on your left, Bostick Road. When you reach the stop sign take a right on Lawrence Road to the first building on the left, Holly Building.
