Information Provided to Offenders

The following is a list of general COVID-19 information provided to offenders. Additional materials, including posters and a more detailed outline of COVID-19 via communication from the Warden, and display of posters around the facilities have also been provided.

Updated Visitation Information

All updates related to visitation at GDC facilities will be provided here and on Twitter @GACorrections. Visitation at all GDC facilities will remain suspended through August 12, 2020.  A decision regarding future visitation schedules will be evaluated after August 12, in keeping with public health guidance in place at that time.

Confirmed COVID-19 Cases

The GDC will maintain a COVID-19 dashboard for providing status of positive COVID-19 cases among staff and the offender population.  Due to the rapidly evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, this dashboard will be updated daily at 6:00pm, based on the most recent data available from the GDC’s Office of Health Services.
